So… What’s The Attraction?

August 15, 2013

Here’s my take on what I find most attractive in a person.                  IMG_2013

  •  Excellent Personal Hygiene

There’s something about a bright, white smile that is captivating.
Add minty fresh breath and you’ve just made yourself instantly kissable.

And, always smell like you just got out of the shower…you did, right?

Add your signature scent.  Mine is “Romance” by Ralph Lauren.  I stole
it from my daughter (well… borrowed).

  • Personal Style

How a person dresses is sooo important!  It’s obvious if there has been
effort or thought to the outfit.  Weed through your closet and get rid of
the out-dated, funky clothes so you won’t be tempted to wear them again
(even to the carwash).

I read that you should only buy clothes that make you feel beautiful.  That
has saved me a lot of money, time on returns and helps me to focus on
what really looks best on me.

  • The Shape You’re In

Why does it seem like everyone who is going through a divorce or separation
is suddenly more interested in getting in shape and working out?  Oh, so now
it matters what you look like?  Why didn’t this happen during the relationship?

Always make maintaining a healthy weight a priority.  Do it for your own
sense of pride.  And eating healthier, with exercise, will add quality years to
your life.  Plus, let’s face it…slim looks a lot better than chubby.

  • Dance, Dance, Dance

Even if you’re not a great dancer, and don’t love to fast dance….a little slow
dancing should do the trick.  No better excuse to put your arms around each
other.  You don’t have to move much to appreciate the moment.

And, with Barry White in the background…”My darling I..Can’t Get Enough Of
Your Love Babe.”  You get the message.  Ooh, that’s going to be good.

  • Confidence

I read that confidence is a highly attractive trait.  So, you may say…”I’m
really not that confident, what should I do?”  My answer is “Fake it.”

Now, I would never suggest you do that in bed…but pull those shoulders
back when you enter a room and walk with intention.  Walk as if you are the
owner of the business.  (Don’t forget to flash that great smile as you walk.)

Of course, if you’re introduced to the owner, you should become your humble self.

  • Laughter

Oh yes, laughter is a very attractive feature.  Bring on the happy!  Everyone is
attracted to happy, smiley, and laughing people.

We all have problems that we deal with on a daily basis.  When you go out…
leave the issues at home.  Wipe the slate clean for a fun night.

And, don’t bring up any ex-boyfriends, ex-husbands, ex-girlfriends.  Bashing
is NOT an attractive quality.

I’d say you’re looking pretty good about now!  Now, go out and strut your stuff!!

What are some of the qualities that attract you to another?  Or turn you off?

Please share them in the comments section.  I’ll find that very attractive :).
